Swapnisthan Selected for funding Under Vardaan’s Right Idea for Right Impact Initiative

We’re delighted to announce that Swapnisthan, founded by Dr. Prakash Chandra, has been selected for funding under Vardaan’s Right Idea for Right Impact (RIRI) initiative. RIRI backs first‑time social entrepreneurs whose purpose‑led projects hold transformative potential.

About Swapnisthan
Set in the tribal belt of Udaipur, Rajasthan, Swapnisthan is an open, alternative learning space for children from Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Other Backward Class (OBC) communities. Learning happens through stories, field visits, local history and practical life skills rather than textbooks alone.

Why It Stood Out
● Grounded in lived experience – Dr. Prakash rose from similar conditions.
● Rooted in relevance – dropout rates among tribal students in Rajasthan remain high.
● Visionary pedagogy – the “Panch Tattva” model links developmental stages with the natural elements.
● Focus on sustainability, exposure and self‑guided learning.

What’s Next
With Vardaan’s support, Dr. Prakash will launch the proof‑of‑concept phase: Working with a small cohort, establishing community centers and refining the curriculum.

“My sisters lost their education to child marriage. I want every tribal child to dream bigger and learn through life, not fear school.”
— Dr Prakash Chandra
